關鍵技術及研發

錨碇觀測系統與資料分析本人主要在發展及施放海洋水文參數的長期錨碇觀測系統 (技術報告:1, 2, 4, 5), 時測資料分析以及其相對在物理海洋學上的解釋。這些工作支援了環變中心同仁及國內海洋學社群的研究工作,其中包含 1) 南海中生物地球化學的變異(文章: 5, 6, 7, 8, 12, 13, and 14) and 2) 北太平洋寡營養鹽海域的浮游植物量的爆發 (文章: 10, and 15).

海洋流場與水文結構本人的研究興趣在於研究台灣周圍海域,上層海洋的流場分布及水文垂直分布結構。其成果包含: 1. 於台灣北部海域,黑潮呈現季節性及季節內的擺動,且當地流場受到黑潮擺動的影響 (文章: 1); 2. 呂宋海峽內流場5天週期的季節內變異,導因於黑潮鋒面不穩定所致,而當地地形及海水分層狀態是黑潮產生鋒面不穩定的重要因子 (文章: 4); 3. 北南海陸棚上的低頻海流主要受風應力、淡水輸入、颱風及渦流的影響 (文章: 9); and 4. 北南海的SEATS測站的水文垂直結構主要可分為三類,另外,與水下十公尺處的海水溫度相差0.50.8度,最適合用來作為估算當地混合層深度的方法(文章: 11).
